Top 10 Female Sneakers

Words By: Zoe Hellaby

Typically speaking, if women were known to have a shoe collection, they were stocking up on stilettos. For years, athletic footwear has been dominated by men, as women’s shoes represent only 20% of all sneakers sold. This is in part because several brands would take men’s shoes, make it smaller and ‘pink it’.

However, the amount of women’s sneakers produced and bought has grown quite a lot in the last couple of years. This is in part due to a higher demand and a wider variety of styles, colours and brands for women to choose from.
